Curriculums

While a student of the CIT program students can expect to earn at least one industry certification, one work-based experience, and obtain the knowledge needed to succeed in their future. Students will also be required to pick an IT pathway of either: Game and Multimedia Design, Game Design and Programming, 3D design or Construction, Cybersecurity.

Our Curriculums

1st Year

Intro to Technology

Students will be exposed to introductory level computing concepts during their first year. Students will be required to take AP Computer Science Principles along with their required core classes.

3rd Year

Continue Pathway

As a part of their third year in the program students will be required to take the second class in their IT pathway, as well as AP Language. These classes will be taken along with the student's required core classes. Additionally, students will be required to complete a summer internship.

2nd Year

Beginning of Pathway

In the second year of the program students will be required to take at least one IT class that aligns with the pathway they choose at the end of their first  year, with the addition of AP Seminar and core classes.

4th Year

Finish Pathway

During their fourth and final year in the program students will take a CIT elective of their choice, AP Research, and any required choices. Students will also be required to complete a capstone project that aligns with their chosen pathway.
